Only a mom... can be picking up the living room quickly while everyone is occupied and feel guilty about it. Guilty that she's not including her kids and teaching them to pick up and feel involved, etc etc etc.
I can't believe I just wasted energy feeling guilty about that. I'm cleaning for cripe's sake!

I know that feeling. It is the same guilt I feel when I don't require kids to say please and thank you to me when I am serving them dinner.
I remember when I was 8, watching TV, aware that my dad was going around the house doing chores, hoping he wouldn't ask me to help. Now, looking back, I understand why he didn't.
